Here’s another band that I’ve always loved because of their great lyrics, awesome vocals by Lou Gramm, and fantastic energy.

I’ll never forget the first time I heard “A Criminal Mind” by Gowan. I thought “Wow, this guy can sing!” The fact that he’s Canadian and now the frontman for Styx, replacing Dennis DeYoung, just made me glow with pride.

There’s no doubt that Dennis DeYoung of Styx can sing. I love bands who have front men who can really sing well.

Genesis was a band that I loved to listen to when I was feeling down. There was something about the vocal talent of this band that soothed jangled nerves. Both Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel are fantastic vocalists, imho.

but yes, I am proud of Canada’s own Rush. They are a band that I would call musicians’ musicians…I love this tune, btw!
