Top Progressive Rock Band: Yes
On July 22, 1976 at the Pacific Colosieum in Vancouver, BC, I had the immense pleasure of seeing Yes in concert! The band Gentle Giant opened for them, and though they were great, Yes was far superior.
I’ll never forget that concert as long as I live. I was standing right in front. I could almost touch Steve Howe. But it was Chris Squire who had me mesmerized. I consider him a very under-rated bass guitarist. Here’s one of my favorite Yes tunes:
